THE WHY

Well here we go, a blog! I've been wanting to start one for a while now and it's always been one of those 'I'll do it later' jobs. The ones that never get done later. I have a habit of doing that when it comes to things that mean investing time and energy into myself. However, coming to terms with this is pretty much the reason I'm sat here writing this and not 'doing it later'.

Over the past 12 months or so I've spent more and more time learning about myself, who I am and how to be (or at least try to be) the best version of myself on a more regular basis. Whether that be personally or professionally, I'm begginning to develop an understanding of the things that make me who I am and how to harness them in a way that can impact me positively as an individual.

Without getting too deep in my first ever little post on here, starting this blog is something which I feel is part of this 'journey' I'm on. Along the way I'm hoping to share incites, ideas and experiences from my personal and professional life in a way that works for me and may even provide inspiration for one or two of you along the way.

I've titled the blog The Photo Taking Teacher because I want it to be a true representation of me and the passions and interests I have. The content here is bound to vary and I want that, staying true to myself by making sure I'm covering everything and not just topics I think people want to hear about.

I'd love for anyone reading this first post to have a flick around the site and explore. The 'about me' tab should provide a little more clarity on who I actually am for anyone interested, but for now, I'm signing off my first ever post and can't wait to start sharing!
